This is a government award hosted by the National Institute of Technology and Standards of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy and supervised by the Korean Standards Association. It is a system in which excellent organizations and contributors who have contributed significantly to developing the national economy and improving industrial competitiveness are selected and awarded at the National Quality Management Contest.

 

Korea Innovation Foundation (President, Kang Byung-Sam), a public institution under the Ministry of Science and ICT (Minister Lee Jong-Ho), and the National Institute of Science and Technology ('KIRD,' President Park Gwi-Chan) held hands together at 11 a.m. on the 27th to promote the advancement of the Human Resource Development (HRD) system. A business agreement ceremony was held for capacity building.

The signing ceremony held at the Korea Innovation Foundation was attended by officials such as Byung-Sam Kang, President of the Korea Innovation Foundation, and Gwi-Chan Park, President of KIRD.

The two organizations agreed to promote cooperation to improve the quality of science and technology talent development programs.

To this end, the two institutions will have Cooperation in the planning and operation of education and training courses Advisory on human resource development consulting and training operation system Joint utilization and support of in-house and external experts Data and data for nurturing talent in the field. Of technology commercialization and INNOPOLIS development management. They plan to set four major tasks: information exchange and actively cooperating for HRD innovation.

The two organizations announced that they will jointly discover various tasks for nurturing talents in the science and technology field in the future, starting with the joint planning and operation of nine educational programs this year, and are expected to create excellent cases of cooperation.

Korea Innovation Foundation President Byung-Sam Kang said, "We expect that the business agreement between the Korea Innovation Foundation, an institution specializing in technology commercialization, and KIRD, a comprehensive support organization for fostering scientific and technological talent, and expect this will be an opportunity to enhance the expertise of employees and create synergies in various fields."

KIRD President Park Gwi-chan said, "Through this agreement, we hope that this agreement will serve as an opportunity to contribute to the cultivation of excellent science and technology talents as well as to improve the quality of education in the field of technology commercialization by sharing the human resource development capabilities accumulated by the two organizations."
