INNOPOLIS Foundation Held 

the 18th Korea's Science & Technology Park Education

□ Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning and INNOPOLIS Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "INNOPOLIS Foundation," President, Chadong Kim) have indicated on the 15th that they will proceed 『18th Korea's Science & Technology Park (K-STP) education』 on associates in science & technology park and public servants in related government bodies in developing countries from the 15th to the 26th of May.

 ㅇ Including Georgia as a new participating country, this education is proceeded on 20 parties from total 18 countries. Participants are to seek for the plans of development in science & technology park in their countries by learning know-how for establishment and operation of science & technology parks in Korea, listening to the lectures related practical work for technology commercialization in INNOPOLIS, and visiting the field. 

 ㅇ Especially, it is scheduled to have more opportunities for participants to share ideas on various methods in applying the experience of science & technology park in Korea to the field in developing countries by increasing the hours of presentation and discussion led by participants in this education.

□ Participants in education are expecting that this education will be of a great help on contributing to economic growth and policies in scientific technologies in their countries by advancing the science & technology parks in their countries based on the systematic understanding of cases in Daedeok INNOPOLIS in Korea.

 ㅇ Ali Fata, the science & technology park in Hormozgan in Iran as a participant in this education, said, "We will bench-mark innovative ecosystem in Daedeok INNOPOLIS through the education of Korea's science & technology park and plan to actively utilize them for establishing the system in cultivating technology-based companies in Hormozgan." 

 ㅇ Total 331 people from 68 countries have completed the education for Korea's science & technology park starting from the 1st education in 2008 to the 17th education in 2016. 

□ President in INNOPOLIS said, "We hope for this education of handing down Korea's science & technology park to be an opportunity to share experience and knowledge of science & technology park in various countries in the world including Daedeok INNOPOLIS and also anticipate the follow-up cooperation between participating organizations and INNOPOLIS after ending the education."
