Daedeok INNOPOLIS hosted Demo Day to attract investment for start-up companies

3 INNOPOLIS companies were offered with 2.7 billion won investment

 

 

INNOPOLIS Foundation has hosted "2017 Daedeok INNOPOLIS Start-up Joint Demo Day" at Daedeok Tech Biz Center(TBC) on April 4.

 

  This event was hosted to attract follow up investment of start-up companies including Greensol Inc., Fine Eva Inc. and other INNOPOLIS Research Institute Spin-of company that are discovered and brought up by Daedeok INNOPOLIS accelerator.

 

  8 start-up companies including Fine Eva Inc.(INNOPOLIS Research Institute Spin-of company room no.101), G2G Bio Inc., Nine Phase Inc., Intocore Technology Inc. participated in the event.

 

IR participants had chance to present their core business items and visions, and later had Q&A session with VC about the success strategy of companies.

 

On the vent, KB Investment, LSK Investment and other 10 investment institutes participated and reviewed on the investment opportunities of start-ups in INNOPOLIS and signed letter of intents between investment institutes and businesses.

 

  LSK Investment (CEO Kim Myeong Gi) saw highly of G2G Bio's professionality and stable growth potential in its incrementally modified medicine research and signed 2 billion won scale letter of intent.

 

  Furthermore, Jiyou Investment Inc. showed 500 million won investment interest to Intocore Technology Inc., and Daedeok Venture partners which employs Micro VC Fund(Start-up accelerating fund in Chungcheong region) showed 100 million won investment interests to G2G Bio Inc. and Nine Phase Inc. each.

 

     * Micro VC Fund (Start-up accelerating fund in Chungcheong region) : It is a fund organized by investment from INNOPOLIS Foundation and others in order to sponsor technology financing of start-up companies. It invests on small or medium venture companies less that 3 years old with more than 5% of R&D proportion compared to sales while the annual sales does not exceed over 1 billion won.  

 

Mr. Yoon Byeong Han, the director of INNOPOLIS Foundation Daedeok INNOPOLIS headquarter said "for successful financing at the proper moment of start-up companies, the foundation will consistently support and put effort on hosting regular Demo day and connecting to INNOPOLIS fund".
