□ On January 25(Wed), to wish
improvement of Innopolis and to celebrate the bright New Year’s start, Ministry
of Science, ICT and Future Planning and Innopolis Foundation hosted 2017
Innopolis new year's event.
ㅇ The event held in Daejeon
Convention Center greeted 380 officials including the minister of Science, ICT
and Future Planning Choi Yang Hee, congressman Oh Se Jeong, chairman of
Innopolis Foundation Kim Cha Dong, chair of National Research Council of
Science & Technology Lee Sang Cheon, president of Science Technology Union
Graduate School Moon Gil Joo and CEOs of Innopolis companies.
□ On the event, Minister Choi said
"there are many achievements from institutions and universities, but it
still lacks connection to industry" and emphasized on "building
virtuous circle by enhancing connection from R&D, commercialization to
start-up to let Innopolis lead the fourth industrial revolution".
