Korea Innovation Foundation serves as a bridge between the nationwide venture investment ecosystem.

- Cheonan-Daedeok-Gwangju leads investment in next-generation mobility innovation startups -

Korea Innovation Foundation (Kang Byung-sam, President) held the “The 3r Super-wide Area in 2022” to lead the growth of next-generation mobility startups at the Small Hidden Champion INNOPOLIS INNOPOLIS Chungnam Creative Economy Innovation Center founded in Asan, Cheonan, on September 14. (Gwangju, Daedeok, Cheonan, Asan) Linked Funding Day” was held.

“INNOPOLIS Ultra-wide Linked Funding Day,” held for the third time following May and July, is a demonstration event that raises the possibility of attracting investment from technologically innovative companies through the mutual linkage between INNOPOLIS companies and investment institutions across the country. In particular, this September funding day was held centered on INNOPOLIS, a small hidden champion in Asan, Cheonan, which has strengths in the next-generation mobility field.

In this event, 6 companies with innovative technologies in the next-generation mobility field pitched IR. These are startups with corporate value of more or less 5 billion won, discovered and selected through in-depth interviews from 19 INNOPOLIS employees and cooperative consulting agencies across the country.

Total 6 companies including Awesomnics (test pins and test sockets for system semiconductor performance inspection), Pedaling (bicycle maintenance mobile service platform and smart trainer software setting), SG Medi (IoT mobile device and data-based care platform) ), Di-Dot Care (suggested customized monitoring through data collection), MoveAWheel (providing road surface condition sensors and comprehensive information for ITS and smart cities), Artwa (amphibious robot autonomous operation and charging docking station) had IR pitching in the event.

As for investment institutions, Chungnam Creative Economy Innovation Center, Innopolis Partners, Venture Square, Samho Green Investment, Dadam Investment, and Scale Up Ventures participated. In particular, in the case of local companies, they used to tend to be alienated from technology investment because they have a low technology base and were local-based companies. However, now they plan to review the investment and drive follow-up investment.

Kang Byung-Sam, President of Korea Innovation Foundation, said, “The ultra-wide linking funding day linking the investment attraction know-how of individual INNOPOLIS with the corporate pool will be of great help in improving the fund management system between local investment institutions and attracting investment from promising companies.” “We will actively support investment programs through continuous linkage and cooperation between INNOPOLIS to provide a foothold for INNOPOLIS companies to grow to a higher level, and the Korea Innovation Foundation will do its best to serve as a bridge in the venture investment ecosystem.”
