Korea Innovation Foundation, Daedeok INNOPOLIS opened a forum for discussion on the era of technological hegemony

- Hosted the 69th Daedeok Innopolis Forum, invited Lee Eun-Ho, director of the Korean Security Agency of Trade and Industry, to give a lecture -

 

The Korea Innovation Foundation (President Kang Byung-Sam, hereinafter “Foundation”) and the Daedeok Club (President Kim In-Ho) announced on the 2nd day that they would hold the 69th Daedeok Innopolis Forum* on the 6th (Tuesday) at 16:00 at the Collaboration Hall of the Daedeok Tech Biz Center (TBC).

 

 ○ This year's Daedeok Innopolis Forum, which selected "Global Technology Hegemony Competition and Public Science and Technology Strategy" as the central theme, discusses in depth the specific response strategies and policy alternatives of our public science and technology in the rapidly changing science and technology environment.

 

   * Daedeok Innopolis Forum: A representative policy discussion venue that is continuously operated since 2007 to prepare the development direction of INNOPOLIS with the participation of opinion leaders in the field of science and technology and experts from industry, academia, research, and government within INNOPOLIS.

 

 

In this forum, Lee Eun-ho, director of the Korean Security Agency of Trade and Industry, will give a lecture on the theme of “Our strategic technology and material protection strategy in the era of technological hegemony.”

 

 ○ After the lecture, Song Chul-Hwa, president of the Korea Science and Technology Policy Research Council, as the moderator; ▲ Lee Seok-Jong, director of Asia Today; Lee Joon, director of strategic planning, Korea Aerospace Research Institute, and Hwang Yong-Soo, director of the Korea Institute of Nuclear Control and Technology, will attend as panelists to discuss in-depth discussions on practical protection measures for Korea's public science and technology, especially strategic technology and strategic materials under the competition for technological supremacy between the US and China and the rapidly changing science and technology environment,
