* K-STP (Korea Science and Technology Park) program: A knowledge sharing education program for policymakers in developing countries who wish to benchmark the INNOPOLIS model

This book focuses on creating, operating, and activating INNOPOLIS, consisting of Korea’s science and industrial policies, industry-academia-research cooperation systems and cases, and the role of INNOPOLIS innovators.

It can be used as an introductory book for policymakers in developing countries to benchmark Korean-style science parks in that it covers both macroscopic and microscopic perspectives for the creation of science parks.

This English book will be distributed as an e-Book to 416 policymakers in 71 developing countries via INNOPOLIS channels. And the e-Book can be found on both English and Korean website (www.innopolis.or.kr, www.innopolis.or.kr/eng).

In addition, the printed book will be distributed to embassies of each country, global related organizations, and universities within INNOPOLIS to promote INNOPOLIS's innovative ecosystem.

Byung-Sam Kang, president of the Korea Innovation Foundation, said, “I want this book, which contains the know-how of the establishment and operation of INNOPOLIS, to reach developing countries by teaching them how to catch fish rather than giving them fish. And INNOPOLIS will continue to make efforts to spread K-STP, a K-wave in science and technology.”
