INNOPOLIS, join hands with Seoul National University to pioneer overseas expansion of spin-off companies!
- Seoul National University supports global market entry through the GRC network of 42 countries -
Korea Innovation Foundation (President Kang Byeong-Sam, hereinafter 'INNOPOLIS') signed a business agreement with "Seoul National University Global R&DB Center" (Director Hwang Jun-Seok, hereinafter 'Seoul National University GRC*') to strengthen support for overseas expansion of spin-off companies on 17th (Friday).
“Seoul National University GRC” is a master’s and doctoral program that transfers Korea’s IT policies and technology development strategies to civil servants in the IT field in developing countries and currently operates a global network of 350 people in 70 countries.
*Course name: Seoul National University ITPP (International Technology Professional Program)
This agreement aims to promote cooperation between the two organizations in the future, with the main contents of ① derivation of cooperation items through the human network of overseas public officials, ② discovering global projects through linkage with spin-off companies, and ③ joint use of networks between the two organizations to promote global technology commercialization.
Through this, INNOPOLIS and Seoul National University plan to promote mutual cooperation through industry-academic linkage programs such as spin-off company internships.
INNOPOLIS President Kang Byung-Sam said, “Operating overseas market development in the global market shrunk by the coronavirus together with Seoul National University’s GRC network will pave the way for spin-off companies to enter overseas markets.”
