- ABOUT THE Korea Innovation Foundation
In 1973, the basic plan for Daedeok Research Complex was initiated to accommodate government-funded research institutes and universities. National Science and Technology R&D outcomes in Daedeok have been the key driving force for South Korea’s remarkable economic development. With the private sector capacity build-up in the 2000s, Daedeok was scaled up to Daedeok Korea Innovation Foundation by incorporating industrial areas on the top of previous R&D complex areas.
