- Providing a Platform for Innopolis Innovative Startups to Attract Investment in the Metropolitan Area -

□ The Innopolis Foundation (Chairman Byung Sam Kang, hereinafter referred to as the "Foundation") announced that it held the "2024 Research and Development Innopolis Metropolitan Joint Demo Day" on Friday, February 23rd, at 2:00 PM in the multipurpose hall on the 6th floor of the D.Camp Seolleung Center (Saerom Building, 551 Seolleung-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul).

 

□ This Demo Day was organized as part of efforts to expand opportunities for promising startups by fostering collaboration among the Daegu, Jeonbuk, and Daedeok Innopolis, thereby connecting these startups with investors in the metropolitan area.

 

ㅇ Through collaboration with D.CAMP (Bank Foundation for Young Entrepreneurs), participating outstanding companies were offered opportunities for investment consideration and residency at D.CAMP.

 

□ The event included IR pitching sessions by promising startups from the Daegu, Jeonbuk, and Daedeok Innopolis zones, followed by one-on-one investment consultations and networking.

ㅇ A total of nine promising startups specializing in fields such as future mobility, robotics, and semiconductors, along with 15 investment institutions including CJ Investment and LB Investment, participated in the event.

 

□ Byung Sam Kang, Chairman of the Innopolis Foundation, stated, "Given the recent contraction of the venture investment market, it has become even more important to enhance connections between companies and investors to address the challenges faced by regional startups in attracting investment." He added, "The Foundation will continue to provide diverse support to stimulate investment in promising companies within the Innopolis zones by pooling innovative investment resources through interzone collaboration."
