- Commencing Verification of Technologies and Products of Innopolise Companies in Europe -
□ The Innopolis Foundation (President Hee-Gwon Jeong, hereinafter referred to as "the Foundation") announced on the 15th that it will intensively operate the "Global Technology Commercialization Support Program (Europe)" from July, utilizing its cooperative network across five European countries to support the entry of Innopolis Companies into the European market.
□ This program aims to provide companies located in research and development special zones with opportunities for Proof of Concept (PoC*) testing of their new technologies and products in the European market. Ten companies from Innopolisewill be selected for support.
* Proof of Concept (PoC): The process of validating the functionality of a new product, business model, or solution by conducting pilot tests with potential customers before full-scale deployment.
□ Unlike last year, when the focus was on the U.S. market, this year the program will expand to include Europe, securing additional testbeds for new technology and product verification. The scope of potential demand companies in Europe will also be broadened, offering various forms of PoC opportunities to the selected companies. The support program will leverage the networks of cooperating institutions in five European countries, including the UK, Germany, and France, to maximize localization effects.
* White Castle Partners (UK), Vertical Finland (Finland), Arches Consulting (Germany), Hack 40 (France), and Innovation Agency Lithuania (Lithuania)
□ The local cooperating institutions will provide comprehensive support to Innopolis Companies throughout the entire PoC cycle. This includes selecting Innopolis Companies with PoC capabilities, offering one-on-one consulting for developing PoC strategies tailored to each company, matching with local PoC partners, conducting preliminary site visits, and managing customized PoC operations. In November, companies will have the opportunity to visit locations such as France and Finland to expand their business networks based on their specific needs.
□ Hee-Gwon Jeong, Chairman of the Innopolis Foundation, stated, “In 2024, we aim to establish a region-driven global network where industry, academia, and research innovation entities can collaborate, focusing on already established global innovation hubs like KIC Europe. Through this network, we will continuously expand global channels, enabling the technology and companies within the Innopolis to scale up internationally.”
