The INNOPOLIS Foundation (Chairman Byeong-Sam Kang, hereinafter referred to as 'the Foundation') announced that it successfully hosted the "2023 Vietnam-Korea Innopolis Roadshow" on the 26th at the Melia Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam.

This event was organized to support the market entry and sales channel expansion of Innopolis companies in Vietnam, particularly those facing challenges due to a lack of local market information and communication barriers. Eight companies participating in the Foundation's global technology business support program and 24 local Vietnamese buyers attended the event. The event also aimed to build long-term networks between the Innopolis companies and the National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Development (NATEC) under Vietnam's Ministry of Science and Technology, which participated to support the entry of Innopolis companies into the Vietnamese market.

The participating Innopolis companies engaged in customized one-on-one B2B meetings with local buyers after conducting pre-event demand surveys and identifying potential partners. These companies leveraged the event to promote their products and establish new partnerships, laying the groundwork for entry into the Vietnamese market.

Given the annual growth of the medical device market in Vietnam post-COVID-19, the event focused on supporting Innopolis companies in the medical and healthcare sectors. As a result, Core Movement Co., Ltd., which specializes in EMS SPA products, secured a $2 million annual distribution contract for the Vietnamese market. Additionally, Cruxell Co., Ltd., which produces dental intraoral X-ray image scanners, signed an MoU with a local buyer during the roadshow, establishing a long-term collaboration network.

Chairman Byeong-Sam Kang of the INNOPOLIS Foundation emphasized, "To respond to the global trade order realignment, we will establish a systematic support system to help Innopolis companies expand into Southeast Asia, using Vietnam as a strategic hub." He further noted, "Following this event, we will continue to support Innopolis companies in maintaining long-term partnerships with Vietnamese buyers and will implement programs such as overseas technology certification to strengthen their capabilities for international expansion."
