Jeonbuk Innopolis X Jeonbuk Center for Creative Economy & Innovation Successfully Concludes Promising Startup Boost-up IR

- Strengthening Jeonbuk's Investment Ecosystem through Networking with Capital Region Investors -


 The Jeonbuk Innopolis of the INNOPOLIS Foundation (Director: Moon-Taek Lim, hereinafter 'Jeonbuk Innopolis') announced that it hosted the "Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Promising Startup Boost-up IR" event in collaboration with the Jeonbuk Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Director: Young-Jae Kang, hereinafter 'Jeonbuk CCEI') from March 27th (Wed) to 28th (Thu) at the Scale-Up Center IR Room, Korea Science and Technology Center 2nd Hall. This event aimed to strengthen Jeonbuk's investment ecosystem through networking with capital region investors.

 

 As part of the Jeonbuk Innopolis Headquarters' INNO-JB Technology Finance Network* program, this March event showcased 10 seed-stage companies, which had been supported for investment attraction and had their investment potential verified, to capital region investors.

* IThe INNO-JB Technology Finance Network is an investment attraction project by the Jeonbuk Innopolis Headquarters that forms an investor network centered on strategic fields of Jeonbuk Innopolis and promotes monthly investment IR and consultation meetings to discover and match promising investment companies.

 

 The 10 early-stage startups that participated in the public IR session showcased their business items, business models, and investment appeal of technology companies to 16 investment firms, including Enlight Ventures, Krypton, and Ansl Partners, which operate funds focused on investing in early-stage companies.

The participating companies and their innovations were:

Dynamic Industry: Development and commercialization of carbon-neutral recycling technology for renewable energy and recycling business for discarded solar panels. BioD: Development of biopharmaceuticals. Pplus: Packaging materials and packaging equipment that can replace metal caps for fermented milk packaging. LINT: SaaS-based cultivation management solutions for optimal data-driven high-quality fruit cultivation. Tams: Sales assistant Selvi for automobile dealers. Smart Ark: Digital crop cultivation recipe systems and automated plant factory systems.  Chic Han: TAOL platform developed to enable all procedures for import and export logistics. CNTyoung: Carbon fiber technology for automotive electromagnetic shielding. Entech Bio-S: Low-methane feed manufacturing solutions. Cheongse: ODM solutions for cleaning, detergents, and prevention.)

 

 Particularly, Jeonbuk Innopolis conducted one-on-one close consultations and networking sessions after the IR presentations, matching companies' business items with the investors' main investment areas to enhance the companies' investment potential..

 

 Additionally, 11 potential investment candidate companies attended the event, listening to senior companies' IR presentations and Q&A sessions with investors, thereby strengthening their commitment to attracting investments. After the main event, an investment pitching practical training program was also conducted to enhance their investment capabilities.

 

 Meanwhile, Jeonbuk Innopolis, in collaboration with various related organizations including Jeonbuk CCEI, held 18 IR sessions last year, supporting 16 companies in attracting investments totaling 40.7 billion KRW through follow-up networking and connections.

 

 Moon-Taek Lim, Director of Jeonbuk Innopolis, stated, "The INNO-JB Technology Finance Network project is designed to discover excellent Jeonbuk Innopolis companies and match them with investors to secure external investment funds for the region." He added, "Starting with Jeonbuk CCEI this year, we plan to discover outstanding technology companies in collaboration with local innovation institutions and promote various programs, including joint IR sessions."
