- Discovery of always-on-demand technologies such as metaverse counseling center and chatbot, and establishment of consultation system -

 

□ The Korea Innovation Foundation (President  Kang Byung-Sam, hereinafter 'Foundation') announced on the 12th that it had renewed the 'Science Belt Digital Branch*' to expand non-face-to-face services for technology commercialization of the  international science business belt (hereinafter referred to as 'Science Belt') and to respond to civil complaints at all times.

 ○ The services provided by the 'Science Belt Digital Branch' includes ▲receipt of demand technology by industry group, ▲provision of technical summary for sales technology, ▲request for consultation (patent strategy, business model establishment, etc.), ▲technology commercialization consulting (using the metaverse counseling center) ),  Q&A, complaint filing, and counselor connection via chatbot.

 

 ○ Before the renewal, the science belt digital branch's business was focused on providing information such as the introduction of science belt sales technology and guidance to consultation requests, but it was reorganized into a 'Science Belt Digital Branch' that enables interactive communication by applying metaverse and chatbot functions.

 

□ The science belt digital branch, equipped with a comprehensive consulting function, showed tangible effects, such as an increase in average monthly visitors compared to before the renewal.

 

 ○ In particular, the number of company officials visiting to find a technical summary of sales technology has increased from less than 50times/month to 200times/month.

□ Kang Byung-Sam, President of the Foundation, expressed, “With the arrival of the post-COVID-19 era, the paradigm of technology commercialization, such as non-face-to-face services, is also rapidly changing.  Starting with establishing the Science Belt digital branch, we will actively utilize new digital technologies to overcome difficulties in the field and closely examine the blind spots faced by SMEs.”
